Seeing as I volunteered at the bottom of page three last Friday I am assuming the KGB are planning to have me murdered between now and the start of the tournament so I was never in the running.

That trip to Salisbury cathedral I had planned for next week might be best postponed.

In time honoured tradition this draw is a farce etc....

What a day to be alive, the bloody Villa in financial meltdown and now this additional indignity.

I can only assume a consortium led by Alan "Fucking" Hutton will be in by tea time with a dream buy out plan just to further the debacle.
I will be only using my hushed Saggers tones for the rest evening now as I discuss the issues with John Cross and Matthew Syed for three hours and come to absolutely no conclusion whatsoever.

We could make you the mascot, a World Cup willy, if you will?

No! I have it!

You can be the Republic of Ireland!
They are always hanging around in the rain looking in at the party through the window with a pathetic tale of grievance or injustice and trying to guilt the hosts to invite them in. Remember the "Team 33" farce over Sir Thierry Henry's perfectly justified handball before the South African WC?
